Dear Patient and Friend,

I felt like I had to write to you today. Ever since I became a chiropractor all I have wanted to do was to help people get as healthy as possible, and keep them healthy. You’re a patient of mine, and you already know the passion I have for chiropractic and for delivering the absolute best care for patients just like you.

But have I ever told you why I became a chiropractor?

When I was younger, I hurt myself while a college student doing heavy construction. I didn’t think it was that bad at the time. A short time later I started to develop chest, back and abdominal pain and my medical physician was unable to help me. It was at this point in time that a friend of mine suggested I go see a chiropractor. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had never been to a D.C. before. I was nervous, but I knew right after my initial examination and my first treatment that there was something to this. A short time later I was completely symptom free. On one of my last visits I noticed that my chiropractor was taking care of patients for numerous health problems, not just back pain. Many of his patients came to see him for athletic injuries, shoulder problems, knee problems, arthritis, asthma and nutritional conditions. It was at this particular point in time as a college student that my direction changed substantially. Instead of becoming a Pathologist, which was my dream at the time, I decided to become a Chiropractor. Now 25 year later I am still striving every day to provide the same care that was provided to me. A lot has changed in that time and I want to especially applaud you for maintaining your focus on health, despite all the changes in health care, not all of which are good.

And since you are among my best patients, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust you have placed in my care. I will always do everything I can to earn that trust and keep you as healthy as I possible can.

In fact, since you are the ideal type of patient that I consider myself fortunate to care for I want to invite you, your family and friends to join me on Monday May 15th as we celebrate our 25th anniversary in practice. Yes, it will be 25 years ago on the 15th of May that my wife and I opened practice in this very same building allbeit in a much smaller space across the hall. As you know, we have grown into one of the largest multi disciplinary health care practices on the South Shore.

This hasn’t come without it’s share of difficulty, but what keeps me going is simply taking the best care I can of patients and their families like yourself and for this I thank you, and if you haven’t been to the office for a while I hope you’ll join us on May 15th. We have set aside special time and extra staffing to provide former patients as well as new patients you may refer for a complimentary health risk evaluation and thermo graphic spinal scan. I will provide them with the care and attention we have always given to our patients, and continue to expect to do so for many years to come.

So again thank you for putting your trust in me, and for being such a great patient and a friend. If there is any way that I can be of service to you, your family or friends just let me know.

Sincerely,
John P. Hayes Jr. D.C. DABCO
